LG120 UiTM English Professional Communication interview experience

This is my very first time writing a blog. So, today I am going to write about my experience interviewed at UiTM for LG120 Diploma in English for Professional Communication.

5 days ago, I checked UiTM portal just incase i got accepted to get interviewed for this course and yup! I made it!



20th April 2019;



The day my bestfriend and I went to UiTM for iv. Once I arrived there, I went into the building and checked my name on the list that they already hang it on the wall. "panel 5"



Skip skip skip... 



I hand my documents to the counter for panel 5 and then queue up infront of the hall to get ready for the written task.



For written task there's 2 sections.



Section A: grammar

Section B: essay in a paragraph about 'E-Sport Hub in Malaysia'



I managed to made a friend with a Johorean-Singaporean who also take part in this iv.



It took so long time for Panel 5 to finish for each group. Each group has 5 members. I am in the 4th group.

That's my view from 1st floor while waiting for my turn to get interviewed. 

Once we got called in, there's 3 interviewers sat infront of our seats.

I-1: introduce yourself.



Me: My name is ㅡiruㅡ ㅡㅡ. I am 18 years old. I lives in Simpang Renggam, Johor. I was a school cooperater at SMKSR. (and then i told them about my father, mother, older sister. Yes, It's a very simple introduction ㅋㅋㅋ)



I-1: tell me who is your biggest influencer in your life.



Me: my father. He was a part of an airforce. He's good at english and language. I really like aircraft (idk why i told that lol) My father also can speak in many dialects.



I-2: what type of dialects?



Me: kelantan, terengganu... And can say almost all because of his friends from airforce before.



I-1: what do you do after SPM?



Me: I... worked as a school cooperater... Continue it after school for 3 weeks until my teacher found a new worker to replace me... I also have an online shop...



(the interviewers reaction quite impressed lol)



I-3: what do you sell for your shop?



Me: (silence) ... (straighten my back) actually I am selling kpop albums...



Interviewers: 0.0 oh... Wow... Alright

The other students: (quickly straighten their back and look at me looool)



I-2: mind to tell me what is your characteristics?



Other: (she explained that she is friendly, but people think she look arrogant)



Me: same goes like her. .. For my look, my look is arrogant BUT I am very friendly. For example, I earlier I asked her (next to me) to practice talking in english together and now we talk alot. I am also quite stubborn type, like if I want something, I'll work hard to get it. I'll try my best.



(later after the others explained their characteristics)



I-2: girls, why you all sounds like not loving yourself? You should love and appreciate yourself because this is EPC... Its for professional communication. Why?



(the others remain silence)



Me: (take a deep breath and straighten my back again) actually... (i use actually too many times lol) I don't like myself before in school because of friend talk behind me and else... (the I-2 quite shocked) BUT after SPM I try to learn to love myself more and love my family so now I love myself more than everything. I... Really love myself. :)

And that was the last question ! Idk if i do well but I guess I tried my best! So far... That's all I can write! I think I am lucky to not being asked about current issues, pollution or politics haha~
